Note:

1. Conference will be accredited by Maharashtra Medical Council. Number of credit hours depends on the MMC policy as per the content, faculty and topics. Number of credit hours approved shall be notified before the conference.
2. All registrations to be done by individual Doctors personally, no third-party registration shall be permitted
3. Delegate should be a member of IADVL/ACSI. Should quote the same while registering. If you are a Dermatologist & if not yet an IADVL member - Either MCI / NMC Recognized Dermatology Degree/ Diploma certificate is mandatory
4. Registration closes once the hall capacity is full- hence please register early. (It has been observed in the previous editions of ROOTS CONFERENCES that registration closes well in advance)
5. There is no provision for co-delegate registration and co delegates will not be allowed into scientific halls.

Important instructions:

1. 1. Registration Fees includes 18% GST.
2. 2. PG students must submit a certificate from their respective HODs stating that you are a post graduate student in the department of Dermatology at the time of registration. This is mandatory and subject to verification.

Cancellation & refund Policy:
An E-mail communication requesting for cancellation of registration & the bank account details are mandatory, E mail to be sent to contact@rootsderma.com
Till 31th May 2026, 50% of registration fees excluding full GST will be refunded.
From 1st June to 19th June 2026, 25% of registration fees excluding full GST.
No refund after 20th June 2026.
Refunds will be processed to the provided bank account 15 days after completion the conference. Kindly mention complete bank details with, name, account number, IFSC code, Bank & Branch name & address along with cancellation request. No refund shall be entertained for cancellation requests without bank account details.

Certificate
Certificate of participation will be distributed on Sunday afternoon on 26th June, 2026.
Requests for sending certificates by courier or by e mail post conference will not be entertained.

Travel:
Pune is well connected by road, rail and air. Delegates can plan their travel by any convenient mode early.

Accommodation:
D Y Patil Medical College is located in the heart of the city. There are plenty of accommodation ranging from budget hotels to 5-star accommodation in and around the venue. Delegate can book accommodation directly and early on their own. Organizers will not take the responsibility of travel and accommodation of delegates.

Award/Free paper/Poster
Abstract submission
Kindly submit abstracts (study / research work / therapeutic pearls) to get a chance to present your work pertaining to the field of dermatology as award paper, free paper or e-poster as decided by the scientific committee based on evaluation and scoring. Registration is mandatory for abstract submission and all further communications will be made via registered email id ONLY.

Note:

1. Letter of affiliation from the Head of the Department (for post graduates).
2. Declaration of conflict of interest (Undertaking by submitting author)
3. Upload the abstract online at rootsderma.com. Abstract submission starts from 15th March 2026 and last date is 20th May 2026. [Please state preference for Oral presentation – Award / Free (Studies/case report) / E-Poster]. Papers will be selected accordingly based on merit by the scientific committee.

Abstract Format:

1. 1. Title should be in block letters, with a double space between the title of the abstract and the name of the presenter
2. 2. The title should be followed by the presenter’s name and email address
3. 3. The abstract should be typed in Times New Roman and a 12-font size
4. 4. For Free papers, Award papers and e-posters; the length of the abstract (excluding the title, names and affiliation and complete contact details) should not exceed 250 words.
5. 5. Studies should follow a structured format (Introduction, Materials and methods, results and conclusion)
6. 6. Case reports should follow a pre-designed format (Background, case synopsis and discussion)
